Requests for Assistance

The Garden Grove Community Foundation is a proud supporter of local non-profit organizations and community groups. Every year, organizations seeking funding for their Garden Grove-based programs and events are invited to submit a “Request for Assistance” to the Foundation. Applications are then reviewed by the Donation Request Committee, who determine groups that will be awarded funding.

Organizations seeking funding must hold current, tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) and the program or project they are seeking funding for must meet one of the Foundation’s purposes:

  • Recreational or other community activity opportunities for youth

  • Music and arts programs within the city

  • Training programs, educational seminars, community outreach

  • Neighborhood park revitalization

  • Community-sponsored events encouraging interaction among ethnic groups

How to Apply

Applications are now closed for the 2025 Requests for Assistance program. Applications for the Request for Assistance program will open again in March of 2026.
